How the referral fee works
When you click any apply link on this site you go to a separate application platform used by licensed Canadian lenders. If a lender on that platform funds your loan, the lender pays us a referral fee. The fee is a cost of the lender's marketing, the same as an advertisement would be, and it is settled between the lender and us after the fact.

What it means for you
Nothing on your side changes because a referral fee exists. Your fee on a payday loan is capped at $14 per $100 in Ontario whether you found the lender through this site, a search engine or a storefront on Kingston Road. Your APR on an installment loan is set by the lender's offer and the 35% federal ceiling, not by how you arrived. We never add a charge, we never take a share of your loan, and we are never paid by you.

What the fee does and does not influence
The fee gives us a reason to want your application to fund with a lender that will actually approve you, since an unfunded application earns nothing. It does not decide which lender sees your application, because the platform matches on your income, province and account, not on who pays us. We do not rank lenders, recommend a named lender, or publish reviews, so there is no list for the fee to distort.
What we do not receive
We do not receive your application, your banking details, your credit file or the terms you sign. We learn that a loan funded and the amount of the fee, and that is all. The privacy page covers what the apply link carries and the about page covers who we are. Questions about this arrangement can go to the address on the contact page.
