Complaints about this site
Write to the address on the contact page with the page in question and what you think is wrong. We acknowledge within two business days and answer within ten. If a figure is stale we correct it and move the "last updated" date. If you believe a page misled you, say what you relied on and we will tell you plainly whether we agree and what we changed.

Complaints about the application
The application form, the bank verification step and the matching to lenders all run on a separate platform. If the form failed, your information was mishandled, or you were contacted in a way you did not consent to, the platform's own support and privacy contacts are printed on the confirmation you received. We do not hold your application, so we cannot see or fix it, but tell us too and we will pass the pattern on if it repeats.

Complaints about a lender
A payday lender in Ontario must be licensed by Consumer Protection Ontario under the Payday Loans Act, 2008, and the licence comes with rules: the $14 per $100 cap, a $1500 maximum, the next business day cancellation right, no rollovers, disclosure of the full cost before you sign, and limits on collection conduct. Start with the lender's own complaint contact, which the agreement must show. If that fails or the conduct is serious, the Consumer Protection Ontario takes complaints about licensed lenders and can order refunds and pull licences. For an installment lender, the federal 35% ceiling and the province's consumer protection rules apply, and Consumer Protection Ontario is still the first office to call.
| The problem | Where it goes |
|---|---|
| A page on this site is wrong or unclear | Us, by email |
| The application form or the platform's handling of your data | The platform's support contact on your confirmation |
| Fees over $14 per $100, a refused cancellation, a rollover, aggressive collection | The lender first, then Consumer Protection Ontario |
| General questions about your rights as a borrower | The Financial Consumer Agency of Canada |
What we keep
We keep complaint emails and our replies (see the privacy page) for as long as it takes to resolve them and to fix the site, and we do not share them with lenders or the platform unless you ask us to. We do not add complainants to any list.
